Rogue Valley Swim Team is a swim club that practices locally at Cascade Community Pool in White City.  The team practices 5-days each week and competes in swim meet competitions 1-2 times per month.  Meets are with teams who belong to USA Swimming and all team members must join this organization in order to compete.

Currently the team has 36 kids ranging from ages 3-19 and are growing!  The team, through sponsor contributions has provided each RVST member with a competition and a practice swim-suit in order to help identify and unify the team.

RVST focuses on improving swim technique, endurance, goal setting, teamwork, and good sportsmanship; and of course, to have fun.  Coach Camden has been coaching RVST since 2002 and has had several of her students continue on with competitive swimming on into high school.

Star of the Month

Congratulations to Caitlyn Camden for a job well done.  In January, Caitlyn  swam her first 500 meter freestyle at the Otter Invitational Swim Meet.  She worked extra hard on improving her technique and endurance.  Good job Caitlyn.

Also, Caitlyn and Chasten Milan received best attendance for January.  Keep up the great job kids.
